What are the tax advantages of renting furniture and appliances?
Under section 51(1) of the Income Tax Assessment Act, rental payments made for furniture or appliances under an operating lease are fully tax deductible as a business expense.
What is available to rent?
We have an extensive range of furniture, electrical appliances, home wares and accessories.
What is the minimum and maximum rental period?
The minimum rental period is one month, however, we are happy to collect the furniture before the end of the month, should the items no longer be required. There is no maximum rental period.
Can I change the furniture during my contract?
Yes, the only charge that would apply is the delivery fee.
Can I purchase the furniture?
Yes, we can calculate the purchase price when the contract is near completion.
What will happen if an item breaks down?
If there are maintenance or service problems we will repair or replace the item as soon as possible.
How can I pay?
Either use a deposit slip at any branch of the Bank of Queensland, pay via credit card or use internet banking.
Are there any account keeping fees?
No, there are no hidden charges.
